Burke Ingraffia is a singer/songwriter who combines spiritual storytelling with a positive message. A native of New Orleans, Burke now lives in Lower Alabama. He has 4 published recordings and performs both solo and with other musicians.
While radio stations are selling advertisements with disposable music and television is creating dangerously paper-thin culture, the people of the world want more than what the media have to offer.

The CD, "Independence, Louisiana" was released in March 2005, only months before Hurricane Katrina. It covers the genres of Latin Jazz, Folk, Funk, Dixieland, and Swing. The songs are about love, family, forgiveness, New Orleans, and the hiddenness of God. It features an ensemble of 20 musicians from south Louisiana and is a cultural snapshot in time that will never be repeated.
