Zero
Zero ZERO, a psychedelic rock ensemble formed by Steve Kimock and Greg Anton in 1984, is best known for its free flowing jazz-rock-electric sound. For the next two decades the project would feature some of the best talent on the Bay Area circuit including legendary guitarist John Cipollina, Martin Fierro, Nicky Hopkins, Bobby Vega, Pete Sears, Liam Hanrahan, Chip Roland, and many more. In 1991 Zero's collaboration with Grateful Dead lyricist Robert Hunter & the addition of lead vocalist Judge Murphy, brought a new dimension to the ZERO sound.

ZERO released eight highly-acclaimed albums, hundreds of live recordings, and occasionally appear out of nowhere in select continental cities. The band reunited in 2008 to honor the memory of saxophonist Martin Fierro, who passed away earlier that year, leaving a great hole in the musical community.

In March of 2011, ZERO commemorated their most celebrated album to date, 'Chance in a Million', that was recorded live at The Great American Music Hall. The show would benefit their brother & vocalist, Judge Murphy, who was battling cancer, awaiting organ transplant. Zero finished out the summer of 2011 and shortly after, Judge Murphy received his gift of life, is cancer free & recovering well from his organ transplant. This tenacious band now looks to the future in celebration, bringing their legendary jazz-rock-electric vibe.
