Ken is a self-described junkie of the whole Southern California folk-rock music scene that began with the Byrds and the Buffalo Springfield. He became an instant convert to the "Church of Neil" after seeing him in the film, The Last Waltz. This project marks Ken's return to playing live music after an eight-year hiatus. His response to the oft asked question, ???: "I'm just thrilled to be playing music again, but to be doing it with such talented musicians... that goes beyond words".
Chuck is a true veteran of the Boston music scene. After cutting his teeth in several local bands, he began paying his dues as half of the acoustic duo "The Risin' Tide". He toured up and down the Eastern Seaboard as lead guitarist with the "Jim Femino Band". He then founded the incredibly popular Boston Band "The Candles" and quickly gained a large and loyal following. The Candles regularly filled 200-400 seat venues over a twelve-year period. In addition to this project, Chuck continues to write and record his own original music.
Mike's calm demeanor and rock-solid playing style makes him a great asset to this band. Says Ken: "when the music really starts exploding, we can count on Mike to hold it all together". Besides his past work as an in-demand fill-in bass player, Mike spent eight years with the award winning country rock/blues band "Full House", and five years with the classic rock band "flashback". He has performed throughout the Boston area at venues such as Johnny D's, The Blue Star, Indian Ranch, and at Boston's Hatch Shell on the Esplanade.
We're thrilled to have Jeremy with us on drums. Jeremy attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, and graduated 1996. He's played with "The Standing Hamptons", "The Candles" (with Chuck), "The Knot" (formerly Slipknot), "Hipology", and most recently, "The Gary Backstrom Project".
