Bodega BODEGA is a band known for their high-energy improvisational Dance parties. Since their Formation in the spring of 2006, BODEGA has continued to evolve from a young jazz/funk quintet to a mature experimental electronic trio. Members Nick Bockrath, Steve Lyons, and Jeremy Worthington share a musical chemistry that thrives on Deep Grooves, thumping House beats, and incendiary Synth and Guitar layers, drawing influence from Afro beat, Funk, Soul, Break beat, House beats, Hip hop, and Rock. BODEGA brings it by the tons, and Blend it all in a way that only they could. BODEGA has played everywhere From The All Good Music Festival in 07' and 08' and all the way up and down the east coast. Bodega always has a rotating cast of special guests for their shows including Tom Hamilton/Rick Lowenberg (Brothers Past), Eric Slick (Dr. Dog, Project Object, Adrian Belew), Barney Mckenna, Kuf Knotz, Luke Oreilly, Aaron Goode (Jay Z, Jill Scott), Leon Jordan Jr., Tim Conley /RYAT, and Marco Benevento to name a few. BODEG'S Debut Album "BOUNCE" Was released on ROPEADOPE DIGITAL RECORDS in 2007 featuring saxophonist Max Swan and guitarist Peter Madonna.
