Murry Woods started playing guitar when he was 10 years old, when bands like Led Zepplin, and Jimi Hendrix dominated the scene. While going to college in Lubbock, he played acoustic duo’s, toured with top 40 rock bands and then teamed up with Medlow Williams (aka Jr Medlow), singer for the locally-famous Cobras out of Austin. Murry was fortunate to have had the opportunity to open for such greats as Albert Collins, Delbert Mc Clinton, Roomful of Blues, Gatemouth Brown, Firefall and Christopher Cross.
