AS FAST AS from Portland, ME, draws influence from The Beatles, The Who, Elvis Costello, Led Zeppelin, Weezer, The Kinks, a bit of Steve Wonder, a lot of beer and their own wiseass demeanor to create a unique, intriguing and powerful sound. Formed in December of 2003, they signed with Octone Records in August and in January 2005 began work on their "debut" record "Open Letter To The Damned" with famed producers Matt Wallace, Howard Benson and David Kahne.
