SkyHi The progressive sound of funk and soul moves SkyHi towards audiences craving a new groove to chase. Continuously cultivating their sound in a small barn 30 miles outside of Nashville, Tennessee they wind their music to almost a sound of a different era where James Brown, Otis Redding and Parliament reigned supreme. Finding a beat that even your grandmother could shake it to is the goal of these sharply dressed soul entrepreneurs. Murfreesboro’s SkyHi released its self entitled freshman album in 2006 with the diversity of colorful horns, thick beats and upright lyrics.
