Paige Clem
Paige Clem Paige Clem is a San Francisco-based singer/songwriter and vocalist. Perhaps it’s the combination of her insatiable musical curiosity and her formative years spent growing up in the South, but Paige Clem’s arrestingly direct lyrics and velvety, unaffected vocals exude that most elusive of musical qualities — Soul. Paige's original material draws on threads of blues and Americana with an honest and often clever accessibility that offers listeners a refreshing departure from the formulaic nature of so much indie rock these days. With a natural gift for connecting with an audience, her roots-infused music is melodic and warm, yet packs a punch with tales of loss and love.

Paige performs her original material as a solo artist and in Clem & Them--a blues and Americana music project that gathers immensely experienced players with Paige's soulful songwriting prowess. Recent performances include High Sierra Music Festival Troubadour Sessions (with Nataly Dawn, Lebo, and Bo Carper), The Lost Church, and Mutiny Radio. Her bluesy yet melodic approach to song has been shared from the stage at many of the Bay Area’s most popular haunts, including Freight & Salvage, Ashkenaz, Sweetwater, Bazaar Cafe, Hotel Utah, Neck of the Woods, The Milk Bar, and more. When not performing her original material, she can be found singing as a member of the popular Grateful Dead tribute band, The Eleven and lending supporting vocals to other Bay Area acts. She has shared the stage with Dredgetown, Sycamore Slough String Band, China Cats, Stu Allen, Chum, Fiddle Dave and the Midnight Farmers and more.
