Starting this evening, every Wednesday for the next month, Steven Bernstein (slide trumpet), Briggan Krauss (alto sax), Kenny Wollesen (drums) and Tony Scherr (bass) will be introducing themselves to the uninitiated of New England at Lilli’s in Somerville, Massachusetts, with their body conquering brand of “punk jazz.” Don’t miss this band’s romp through the pop lexicon, as they deconstruct the works of artists ranging from Duke Ellington to the Rolling Stones to Los Del Rio with a steady diet of original tunes mixed in for good measure.
