Outformation
On the heels of a brand new album, Outformation is fresh out of the studio and singing to a new and inspired tune.

Outformation has grown from a basement trio to a touring collaboration between five talented artists in a very short time. The collective has managed to have record-breaking ticket sales in theaters across the country with only three years under their belt.

Known for their instrumental sonic blasts and dark southern ballads, the formation that makes up the Outformation sound has never been tighter.

The permanent addition of CR Gruver on keyboards and Jeff "Birddog" Lane on percussion has the band blazing new trails on their musical journey. Fitting for the occasion, their second studio effort highlights a number of new songs written both in the studio and on the road.

The new album (yet to be named) is expected to hit the shelves in the spring of 2007 and also features JoJo Hermann (Widespread Panic).

Outformation will be performing a series of club and theater dates in support of their up-and-coming release including stops in the Northeast, South, Midwest and West Coast; leaving no doubt that this is one band that is ready to "go all out."

I know Umphrey's cancelled their Gainesville date due to "venue differences." Out411 was opening, are they still playing that show?

i'd love to see them at wanee myself, but i think that lineup is pretty well full. outformation is gettin' to be pretty big and I don't think wanee has another slot for them. there is a break in their schedule then though...

Just listened to a few tracks from shows on the archive site.......They are certainly talented musicians but not original by any means. They sound like a bar band trying to emulate the WSP.

I'll have to disagree with you there Etre. The music does sound similar to ole school Panic, because of Sam's closeness to Mikey, but the lyrics are much different. Panic's typical lyrics are very visual, Out411 is more of a storyline. ethier way i still love these, and remember they only been playing for 3 years now, give 'em a chance to hone thier sound.

Wouldn't mind seeing WSP/Outformation tour let the Home Team open for Panic and do the after parties

GOT TO SEE THE BAND WHEN THEY CAME AND PLAYED MERCY LOUNGE IN NASHVILLE. ONE WORD "INSANE". THEY SOUNDED REAL GOOD. HUNTER WILLIAMS PLAYED PERCUSSION FOR A FEW SONGS. THE 4/20 SHOW AFTER PANIC WILL BE THE PLACE TO BE. IF I CAN GET OFF WORK I AM GOING TO BE THERE. WISH SAM WOULD COME BACK HOME FOR A SHOW. BUT THEY WERE JUST HERE A FEW MONTHS AGO SO I REALLY CAN'T SAY ANYTHING. IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THIS BAND YET GO SEE THEM..

Also the 2/27 show is actually @ Mojo's in Columbia, MO not Fayettville, Arkansas. That what it says on their website. I'm guessing the jambase person that listed the dates didn't know.
