Coming off a huge 2006 with their stunning debut Everything All The Time, Band of Horses are now hanging "in the beautiful low-country of South Carolina enjoying sunny ass 70 degree afternoons and delicious boiled peanuts." The band is also working on material for a new BOH album to be recorded in Ashville, NC (Echo Mountain Studios) beginning in March.
The Band of Horses are also gearing up for a few rock shows this March including a performance at the Langerado Music Festival in Sunrise, FL. Bandleader Ben Bridwell is getting serious about his backing band as he's pulled in some top talent to round out the Horses. Bridwell is happy to welcome Robin Peringer (Carissa's Wierd, 764-HERO, Modest Mouse) on guitar, and Matt Gentling (Archers Of Loaf) on bass for this Southern jaunt. Carrie Anne Hearst and The Gun Street Girls will be on tour with Band Of Horses!
BOH will also join Modest Mouse, Grizzly Bear, Sparklehorse, Echo & the Bunnymen, and many more at the ATP vs. the Fans festival in the UK in mid-May.
