After over a decade of touring across the country, The Recipe's most recent ensemble has made the decision to part ways. Original members Tom Whelan (percussionist), and Gregg Lowley (drummer), as well as long-time bassist Mike Vitale and tour manager Jeff Shirley, will be performing their last show with the band on New Years Eve at The Purple Fiddle in Thomas, WV.
Though the decision was not an easy one to make, the time has come to change course. The parting group is thankful to have been blessed with the opportunity to make music together for so many amazing years, and is so very grateful for the eternal support given by the one and only Porch family. Please keep an eye out for future projects from these members.
Joe Prichard and Uncle Ed Mahonen will continue to tour as The Recipe in support of Jubilee, the band's most recent release.
