HARDLY STRICTLY BLUEGRASS TEASES
FIRST TEN CONFIRMED ACTS FOR 2012 FESTIVAL
The remarkable free festival known as Hardly Strictly Bluegrass has begun teasing their initial lineup. Each of the 10 artists in the soundcloud clip below have been confirmed for the 2012 festival, which takes place October 5-7 at Hellman's Hollow in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco, CA. Three more audio clips featuring confirmed acts will be released in the coming weeks. Let the guessing begin!
Sadly, this will be first edition of the beloved festival not to include Warren Hellman, who passed away at the age of 77 on December 18, 2011 of complications from his treatment for leukemia. The San Francisco Park and Recreation Commission renamed Speedway Meadow to Hellman Hollow in Golden Gate Park in honor of the late private equity pioneer, philanthropist, and festival benefactor.
