TWO-DAY FEST SET FOR JULY 21-22
AT JUNCTION CITY PARK, CA
The Trinity Tribal Stomp is a family friendly two day music festival that will take place on July 21 and 22 at the Junction City Park. The park is located on Highway 299 eight miles west of Weaverville and eighty miles east of Arcata. The festival features a variety of music being performed by some of the worlds finest musicians.
Victor Wooten is bringing his new band to headline on Saturday night. Also performing Saturday is Grammy winning singer and guitarist Peter Rowan. Sunday finds it roots in the Grateful Dead family tree with guitarist and vocalist Mark Karan ( Bob Weir and RatDog ) putting together the Tribal Stomp Orchestra. Bassist Bobby Vega ( Zero, KVHW, Sly and the Family Stone) drummer John Hanes ( Steve Kimock), and keyboardist Steve Taylor (Jackie Greene Band) will be joined by special guests for a rocking set. Tickets are eighty dollars in advance and ninety dollars at the door for the weekend including camping. Children under twelve are free. Day passes for Saturday or Sunday are fifty dollars.
