Not at all a fan of the Beck Scientology weird ass way beyond this that the other fame. But, as far as Marketing... his hired hands did well. He'll sell way more records because of this than anything. And, by the way, who gives a damn what the charts say? Right now the top 5 is something on the order of Fergi, One of the Simpsons (not Bart), Timberlake, Janet Jackson, and random Rapper.

I am w/ ya on the charts, who cares! I think it's great that Beck is sticking his neck out there to do what he wants for the sake of art, and not conforming to the needs of popularity and acceptance. Artists would be no where w/out a little experimentation, and without, it wouldn't be real. I haven't heard this album yet, but I'll be sure to check it out!

His new album is good..it'll probably get better the more one listens to it. It's no Guero, thats for sure. This album is actually songs he was writing before and during the recording of Guero...overall its a strong album,something you could listen to straight through w/o skipping tracks. As for the bonus DVD and stickers,there is no better of a way to make CD's the "thing" to buy...give em a little something extra.

Oh my, let's all go buy this cd by such a countercultural phenomenon. His hair is soooo cute ! Did you see the video on the Mtv ? Awwww, his jacket is so well broken in and vintagely beautiful, just like his pants and cowboy boots. Beck breaks rules that don't even matter ! Wow ! Could this mean less money for Beck ? Oh no. Now he won't be able to buy that new vintage button up cowboy shirt he wanted so bad.

What most of you dissenters fail to realize is that this is about music. We all love music- i hope- otherwise you wouldnt be a member of this site. If Beck gets banned for some fucking stickers then screw them. Stickers or no stickers, its all the same. Are people really gonna be like, "OMG! THERE ARE FREE STICKERS IN THIS CD! I WANT IT FOR CHRISTMAS!" HELLLLLLL NO.
That's a load of crap. And Beck is tight. If you don't like his music, then shut up and don't listen to it. And as soon as you can play as many instruments as well as he can and be creative and musical with each of them, I suggest you just listen to the Ramones or just sit back and enjoy.
