Thank you all so much for taking the time to check this out. I [Al Schnier of moe.] am running my 2nd NYC Marathon on 11.05.06 (all 26.2 miles of it). Last time, I simply wanted to finish. This time I want to do something special. More and more children are being diagnosed with autism at an alarming rate. The numbers are staggering and our current resources are limited in dealing with the surplus of children and families in need of practical daily support. The Kelberman Center of Utica aims to provide a much needed outlet in the Northeast, for cutting edge, progressive interaction and support, when children pass from early intervention and ABA programs like Promise.

Please give what you can and pass the word on to anyone who may be interested.

This is what "our" scene is supposed to be about. Not bitching and whining when your do not agree with a festival line-up, or talking shit on a band that is not your bag. But rather it is supposed to be about love, peace, philanthropy, and decency through music. Music can be an outlet through which we can do a lot of good. The bands never struggle to remember this, but we sometimes do. Just a reminder...one that I myself also need at times.
