NEW ORLEANS' RADIATORS RELEASE NEW STUDIO ALBUM
DREAMING OUT LOUD ON OCTOBER 3, 2006

LOOK FOR THEM ON TOUR THIS FALL

The Radiators
During the band's 28 years, The Radiators have come tantalizingly close to making the "Great New Orleans Rock Recording." Now, with the release of their new record, Dreaming Out Loud (Radz Records - October 3, 2006), they've done it. Dreaming Out Loud is the definitive studio recording by one of New Orleans' best Rock bands.

Dreaming Out Loud is an accurate and intriguing self-portrait of these New Orleans natives; heartbroken by the devastation Hurricane Katrina brought to their beloved city, but not hopeless. Determined to record the album in their hometown, The Radiators teamed up with producer Mark Bingham at Piety St. Recording N.O.L.A. during the city's historical 2006 Mardi Gras celebration, when the New Orleans community gathered together to remind the world that the city and its traditions would in fact survive. There and then the band laid the tracks for Dreaming Out Loud – a New Orleans-flavored "war cry" that only The Radiators could assemble. The album's title track sets straight those who ever doubted the city's legacy would continue; Malone sings - "Our music is all we've ever had."

Although members of the band have played as sidemen with New Orleans legends Professor Longhair, Dr. John, James Booker and Earl King, they are best known for their time on the road and in the studio as The Radiators.

Yo Stinkey I mean Stankey, precisely when did they lose their groove? 1985, 1995, or 2000? What you need to give up is wasting your negative energy on posts like this one. I have known many a fool like you over the years and you always bring me a lot of comic relief.

Also, what should we give up?

Also, also, when was the first time you saw them and when was the last?

I've been seeing them for 5 years (20+ shows) and if the way they play now is after having "lost their groove" than they must have been unparalleled before. They are, today, amazingly, mindblowingly good. You sir, are an idiot.

The Boyz consistently provide not only a totally creative, quality and still after all these years unpredictable musical experience. A Radz show is always full blown rockin fun....not to mention the amazingly great group of kind, intellegent and typically musically sophisticated people that comprise the fishead community.... if you haven't yet GET RADIATED IT DOES A BODY GOOD!!!

stankey...you cruisin' some ruf turf here bro'. If the Rads lost half their groove, they would still 99% more groove than 100% of the bands out their today...and yesterday. I saw them in 1978 and I saw them last month. They are simply the best. If they didn't sing and only played their instruments...they'd be the best. If they sang and put their instruments down... well, I won't go there, but I'd still pay to see it!

Radiators, the Hangar, 2004, opening night of jazzfest. single greatest show of my entire life. rocked so hard the speakers shook off the stage and onto the floor. Nothing else I have ever experienced in my entire life will ever come close to what the Radiators have done for me, if their groove is gone, I suppose I've never really known what that groove actually was.
