YEASAYER ANNOUNCES SUMMER SHOWS AND TEASES NEW MUSIC

Eclectic Brooklyn trio Yeasayer are set to embark on a brief run of dates this June. The tour will start on June 19 at The National in Richmond, VA, and continue in Asheville, Knoxville, Nashville, Louisville and Cincinnati. The band is also scheduled to play the Osheaga Festival in Montreal on August 3. In a message on their website, the group has hinted at the possibility of new music, with a message that reads: "SUMMER 2012 + SHOWS + NEW SONGS?". The group last released new music in 2010 when they put out the Odd Blood record on the Secretly Canadian label.
