KELLER WORLD WIDE

KELLER WILLIAMS IN EUROPE THIS FALL SUPPORTING XAVIER RUDD

HE'LL ALSO HEADLINE THEATRE SHOWS THROUGHOUT THE SOUTHERN STATES

KELLER WILLIAMS RECENTLY SELF-RELEASED GRASS, AN ANYTHING-BUT-TRADITIONAL BLUEGRASS ALBUM

Keller Williams
Keller Williams is a one-man band for the digital age. Using innovative looping technology and innate musical genius, Keller's live solo performances pack more music on one stage than a full fledge rock ensemble might. His inspired live shows also pack the house; look for him in Europe this fall, sharing the bill with Australian surf/roots artist Xavier Rudd.

Some say that Rudd is Keller's counter-part from Down Under. Rudd, like Keller, plays a variety of instruments both in concert and in his recordings. Rudd's debut album, Solace, features guitars, shakers, didgeridoos, Weissenborn slide guitars, Tongue drums, stomp boxes, djembes, harmonica, ankle bells, and slide banjo - all performed by Rudd. www.xavierrudd.com.

The complete list of Keller Williams' European tour dates with Xavier Rudd is as follows:

10.09 | Vega | Copenhagen, DEN
10.10 | Melkweg | Amsterdam, NETH

Keller Williams' latest release GRASS is a delightfully bizarre collection of anything-but-traditional bluegrass songs. With old buddy and award-winning flat picker Larry Keel on guitar, and Larry's beautiful rock-solid in-the-pocket acoustic bass playing wife, Jenny Keel, GRASS is an organic and airy acoustic record. Its 10 songs, originals and unexpected covers tunes, yield to a pure love of music. Available ONLY at www.kellerwilliams.net and at a live show near you.

yes he certainly needs to do some new things change the approach or something
many folks are losing interest recently
we still love him but
although a lot of the things he is doing are great sometimes itis to wierd to come together
on the same old song
and
well I think with his musical capabilities
he will eventually go another direction
using what his shows have become and presenting it a bit differently
maybe with a band
maybe this is just what I want

I used to really enjoy going to see him over 10 years ago. When he first started looping I thought that it was extremely creative and innovative, and he even inspired me to buy a lexicon jam man to use in writing my own material. He is a superb musician. I have only one turnoff- as his popularity has grown his head has become swollen to the point that it might burst at any moment. LOSE THE EGO- YOU'RE REALLY NOT ANY COOLER THAN ANYONE ELSE. keep it real

i don't want to join the discussion about who is cool and who is not, or who plays good music and who does not. i am just happy to get some jams to europe for a change! jam in the dam is just not enough, and in the end it is an american festival anyway (not that i mind, don't get me wrong, but from what i heard there is not many europeans in the melkweg on that weekend). and xavier rudd sounds very interesting as well, i never had a chance to see him before. i will try and catch this tour in paris and am very excited about it indeed!!!!

keller is the fan's muscian. Its like he's been there and now he's up there, he might as well be your buddy standing next to you at the show. It sucks that just as I am moveing from florida partly because noone ever comes down him and a bunch of other people decide that suddenly florida is a cool place to play, btw danknugget your right he does play the same setlists in fl, at least he teased wilson at the end of victory song at 10lkf

Hey shanky, kellers "Youth" is now called "Dreams" and features Bob Wier, The String Cheese Incident, John Scofield, Charlie Hunter, Victor Wooten and more. Its expected to come out early Feb. Sounds fuckin sick.

Sorry joolzen, no Keller Mcgee cuz Umphreys have announced their nye plans with north mississippi allstars, los lobos, and taj Mahal. Should be another awesome nye in that awesome fuckin city (unless SCI or KWI plays on the east)
