OUTFORMATION BOOZE CRUZ

Outformation
Just one year after gathering all the necessary pieces to the Outformation puzzle, the band is quickly breaking into the public eye. The summer of 2006 saw the band has perform a string of sold-out shows in Colorado, throughout the Southeast and Midwest with no stop in sight. Outformation is now making their way to New York City for two-nights of music on aboard the Temptress as part of a series of Rocks Off Concert Cruise Music events.

Armed with an arsenal of story-based, workingman songs, ever-increasing moments of magic on stage, and growing pockets of fans across the country, Outformation is clearly on the move. "We're to the point where we're ready," says guitarist/vocalist Sam Holt. "I'm looking forward to getting in front of bigger audiences and pushing it - just give it to 'em, just go crazy. I'm looking forward to the ride, and I hope it's a ride we can stay on for a while."

Holt's regular special guest appearances along the 2006 summer Widespread Panic tour has garnished a number of new and devoted fans around the globe. With a fan club site in the works and music collectors rampantly collecting the live music there is no doubt that this is one band is clearly on the rise.

With shared influences ranging from Charlie Daniels, Waylon Jennings and Drive-By Truckers all the way to Frank Zappa and the Grateful Dead, the band has begun to build a reputation for quality songs and powerful performances.

In response to Outformation's auspicious entrance to the music world, the rising stars were named "Best New Band" of 2005 in Honest Tune magazine's reader's poll, and Tennessee Before Daylight was nominated for "Best Album" by the editorial staff of the same publication. But it's not just readers and writers of Honest Tune who have taken notice, with club dates selling out across the country it appears that fans of blue-collar, hard-nosed rock & roll are taking notice everywhere.

Best get ready People.. Outformation is going to be a band to
be reckoned with. Sam Holt on lead guitar, formerly Widespread Panics guitar tech for many years. He has talent, for playing, and songwriting, Michael Houser said once "sam, you should be playing music, not spending your time as a guitar tech"
If Houser thinks Sam has potential as a writer and player, then it surely stands to be some of the best new action out there on the scene. Do yourself a favor and go see them. I watched Sam Holt RIP it with WSP, in the 2 nite run of Louisville Ky in summer of 2006. The very show that George McConnell was sent home, after being told he would be replaced in the fall by Jimmy Herring. Sams band is super tight, Grady on Bass, and my good buddy, Jeff Lane on percussion. GO SEE THEM!!!!!! Ps> the album Tenneessee Before Daylight is good too. Peace Ya'll...
