The String Cheese Incident has emerged as one of today's most significant independent bands. Born in 1993 in Colorado's Rocky Mountains, SCI has since released six albums, three DVDs and countless live recordings from their relentless tour schedule. Their relatively short history is packed full of surreal experiences, epic moments, groundbreaking involvement and huge accomplishments. They have been recognized for their commitment to musical creativity and integrity, for their community spirit and philanthropic endeavors, and for their innovative approach to the business of music. And their journey has only just begun. The band's most recent studio release, One Step Closer, was released in 2005. On the album SCI divulge their genuine songwriting voice, and it's every bit as ambitious as you'd expect. Recorded at a friend's home in the hills of Colorado's Front Range, and produced by Malcom Burn (Bob Dylan, Chris Whitley, Emmylou Harris, Daniel Lanois), the album's 13 songs are gritty, free-wheeling and powerfully honed. With each member contributing their part, the collection reveals another masterful breakthrough from one of today’s most visionary and talented rock bands.

BOS>WISTAH...About 50 miles give/take. Hour drive but plan on 2 to be safe, never know w/ the traffic even if it's a Sunday show. That should set aside time to get your head straight. There is an airport in Worcester if that's your deal actually...not sure what airlines fly in though. Best of luck...

Alright now! The article above kinda sums it up, a little bit fluffy, but heh, these guys are great musicians and do good deeds too. The Summer tour was great at Red Rocks and Radio City in NYC. Now I'm psyched for full blown Cheese in Roanoke VA and Asheville NC, but also closer to home at the Warner Theatre in Wash DC, what a great hall. Come on out and hear the gouda news freaky people.

Awesome. Charleston, SC on a Sunday evening in October. I caught my first Incident in Charleston at the Gaillard (sp.) Auditorium there about 3 or 4 years ago. Been hooked since. Where the money is coming from, I have no idea. This will have to come out of the Hornings Hideout fund (think positive for 2007). Although I am sure they will be tired as Charleston will be the 6th night in a row.

will sci ever return to the south? The KC show at the starlight was the closest. I will be in Austin, but I would love to see more dirty down south shows. Please don't forget about us. Stay cheezy.

Sweet! Finally something good comin' to Chucktown. Now if WSP would only satisfy the rumors I've heard about Friday the 13th in N. Chas., my October '06 would be filled with joy!

What's up...why not vegoose spaceface? The initial lineup is in and there with Keller, in my opinion both are at there best when they play together.

Vegoose is sucking all the halloween shows into one place. But if your going I hope you have an amazing time. The Keller Incident at 10k was sick and maybe you'll get lucky and get a Cheese or Keller Late-night.
