Artists Share Their Thoughts on F.U.N.K. Festival 2006 (Friends Uv Nature & Knowledge)
Artist audio interviews featured on festival website over next few weeks
On August 25, 26 & 27 the 2nd annual Friends Uv Nature & Knowledge Festival will ascend on the Bill Monroe Memorial Music Park in Bean Blossom, Indiana. As a preliminary taste of what's to come at the F.U.N.K. Festival, audio interviews from several musicians who will be performing at the festival will be posted on the festival's website at www.jaytv.com/funkfestival in the next few weeks. Festival co-creator Victor Wooten has already contributed to this interview process and his interview can be heard now at the festival website. Keep an eye and ear open, as further interviews from artists and special guests will be featured each week up to the festival.
Drawing strongly off of Victor Wooten's highly successful Bass Nature Camp, the F.U.N.K. Festival combines the atmosphere of a music and camping festival with workshops on music, nature and more. Featuring two stages of music, plus a third "knowledge stage" which will host the music workshops, and feature speakers on a variety of important social and environmental issues. Great Food & Drink, Unique Merchandise Vending, All Kinds of Good Beer and Onsite Camping!
