 The Breakfast |
We are sad to announce the departure of our brother, friend, and keyboardist Jordan Giangreco. Jordan was with us at the start of PB/The Breakfast and has made it thru a 1000 shows over the span of 7 1/2 years. Tim Palmieri will be taking over keyboards at The Breakfast shows while the band looks for a new keyboardist. Below is Jordan's official statement.
"It is with deep regret that I have decided to leave my post as keyboard player for The Breakfast," Giangreco said. "This is one of the hardest decisions I have ever made in my life. For the past seven years I have experienced pure musical bliss that one can only dream about. I feel fortunate and lucky to have played with three of the best musicians on the scene. My experience with The Breakfast has been unforgettable, exciting, humbling and satisfying."
"I would like to thank The Breakfast fans for all their support through the years, and also to thank those who devoted their time and effort on the band's behalf," said Giangreco.
The bands official statement, "We are sad to lose such a great musician, inspiration, and friend on the road. We respect Jordan's decision and wish him success and all the best with whatever he does in life. He will be missed."
"We apologize to all the fans and community about this late and long overdue explanation. Timing is never easy in a situation like this. We are continuing full steam ahead with our passion for music and performing. We look forward to this new musical challenge with Tim taking over keyboards and the whole band picking up new harmonies. We hope to see all our fans at the shows to share the music we have all come to love."
The Breakfast will solicit demos and hold auditions in order to find a replacement. The band will fulfill their tour schedule and commitments, as well as any and all future shows and opportunities during this transition.
