I travel all over for shows. As far as Seattle, New Mexico and Minnesota. It pisses me off when bands don't travel to Florida. I think I'm going to stop traveling to see bands who won't travel to see me. As far as STS9 goes. I'll be there at Jannus Landing with all the other Florida Partiers who always get left out. Good Planning STS9!

sts9 is on fire by far one of the best bands around. was lucky enough to be in atlanta and asheville this year. Hopefully at the nacle again for new years. Best three nights ever.

Interesting comments. I agree with you. STS9 was my top touring band and now they've fallen below Disco Biscuits, UM, and particle. Just kidding about particle.

Every few years i give this band another chance and they never really do it for me. i really do enjoy this style of music but i feel like they could do more musically to live up to the hype surrounding them. last time i saw them all i saw was fancy, shiny, trendy, expensive decorations and equipment every where and no chops or message asside from the sort of shallow fashon statements one could whitness from over zealous youth at the local high scool.

if this band and its fans were so hip why would any of them be playing for clear channel or buying tickets from them? creative people need to vote with thier dollar!

Does anyone else see this? No, really, EvilFunk? Is this guy for real? Comparing STS9 to boy bands and mentioning them in the same breath as over zealous high school kids!! I teach high school, Jack! and let me tell you your out of your element !! Sick ass grooves to sick ass lights are not exactly what most would call "fancy, shiny, trendy, expensive decorations and equipment every where". Running front of house lights and sound is an art form, the more "decorations" the better. Next thing you know this guy will be talking about how Ed Mcgee is a lyrical mastermind. All I gotta say is shut your mouth and play!! That's what they do and they are damn good at it. I won't see you there and fashion has an "I" in it, jackass.

EVILFUNK name me one band who doensn't go through clear channel.....why would tribe buy tickets to their own show? Oh and the last 3 times I have seen them no flowers...no crystals...just painters on the stage so I have no idea what decorations you may be talking about. As for the albums getting worse just becasue bands change their styles from earlier times does not make them worse change is inevitable that is something alot of people do not understand. If you want some heat download the show from Columbia MO 2/4/06. One more thing this band is in a constant state of evolution and experimentation nice to see that someone isn't afraid to push their boundries. We don't want those vibes at the show anyhow so stay away.
