The 4th Annual 10,000 Lakes Festival (10KLF) kicks off next week with over sixty artists scheduled to perform July 19-22 at the Soo Pass Ranch in Detroit Lakes, MN.
In preparation for four nights of music, camping, and relaxation, 10KLF attendees are now able to create a customized weekend planner with the 10KLF-Base festival grid.
The 10,000 Lakes Festival’s line-up includes Phil Lesh & Friends, Trey Anastasio & Mike Gordon with the Benevento Russo Duo, The String Cheese Incident, Keller Williams Incident (performing with The String Cheese Incident), O.A.R. (...Of A Revolution), Keller Williams (solo), Umphrey's McGee, Medeski, Martin & Wood, Big Head Todd & The Monsters, The Samples, Railroad Earth, Hot Buttered Rum, Kimock/Perkins and over fifty additional bands.
The super-group Everyone Orchestra will hold a musical ‘experiment’ by collaborating with a roster of musicians and artists performing 10KLF with their own projects. The EO line up will include Steve Kimock, Vince Herman, members of Hot Buttered Rum, Tea Leaf Green, Andy Goessling and Tim Carbone from Railroad Earth plus conscious rapper Souleye and additional special guests for a set of improvisational offerings by musicians all performing ‘in the moment.’
Drawing from a pool full of talented national, regional, and emerging acts, the 10,000 Lakes Festival seeks to be the nation’s premier music and camping festival destination. Enjoying the scene’s top performers within the stunning natural beauty of clear lakes and spacious, wooded campgrounds provides all attendees an unparalleled festival experience.
The festival will also host numerous activities on the grounds including a nine-hole disc golf course, yoga sessions, percussion workshops, campground entertainment stages, as well as showers, ATMs, food and merchandise vendors including a rare ''Festival Taxi'' service offering rides throughout the grounds on the coveted golf cart.
The non-profit group Conscious Alliance is proud to announce the 2nd Annual 10KLF Food Drive to benefit the White Earth Indian Reservation of Minnesota. Patrons that donate 10 or more non-perishable food items will receive a complimentary 10KLF poster while supplies last featuring artwork from renowned poster artist Jeff Wood of Drowning Creek Studios. Donation bins will be located outside of each main entrance to the festival grounds and will also be marked on the festival guide map.
The non-profit, non-partisan voter registration group HeadCount will be holding a very special raffle of 4 signed original Jim Pollack artist proof festival posters. Visit the HeadCount booth at 10,000 Lakes to sign up for the raffle and register to vote. Midterms Matter!
