To celebrate the release of the brand new 2-DVD and 3-CD set, Live In Brooklyn, Phish is thrilled to present to fans a very special, one-night-only Big Screen Concerts screening of their entire June 17, 2004 show. Live In Brooklyn will be shown in High-Definition at 99 participating Regal, United Artists, Edwards, AMC and Georgia Theatre Company movie theatres nationwide on Monday, July 10th.

Live In Brooklyn was filmed June 17, 2004 at the band's opening night performance at Keyspan Park on Coney Island. The concert footage has not been shown since that night, when 16,000 Phish fans in the sold-out baseball park danced in the rain and 30,000 fans watched the original live simulcast in movie theatres across the country. For those who were there, this is a unique chance to relive this landmark show in its entirety. It's also a great opportunity for those who missed it the first time to experience the magic of Phish at their best. Live In Brooklyn includes all the footage from the simulcast, re-edited in 1081i HD and remixed in 5.1 Surround Sound and uncompressed Stereo PCM audio. This screening is the only scheduled public showing of the release in full HD resolution.

Tickets are $12.50 in advance and will go on sale today, Friday, June 23rd at 5:00 PM EST at http://www.BigScreenConcerts.com as well as individual box offices (there is no service charge when purchased at the box office). This is an all ages event. Taping and use of cameras and videocameras is strictly prohibited. A full list of participating theatres is below.

Screenings will begin at 9:00PM Eastern time, 8:00PM CST, 7:00PM MST, and 6:00PM pm PST. Running time of the screening is approximately 3 1/2 hours, with a brief intermission between sets. There is a no re-entry policy.

I saw this concert live in the theatre first time before I hit the road for SPAC. Wierd and insane at the same time. I've never burned down while I was melting in the middle of glowstick war... all inside a movie theatre! Too bad we can't see the Jay-Z jam from the following night this time around. Oh well. Wild! 10KLF!

I wish they'd play again too. I really wish they'd play just for 1000 of us and in my home state on the perfect day but it probably will not happen. Try to be grateful they played at all. I loved them and still do. Their insriration has spread and recordings exsist so enjoy. You can't bring back the DEAD or PHISH, so simply enjoy the tapes and love their unique influence upon the future of beautiful music.

I love Phish just as much as the next guy, but this is getting a little ridiculous. I'll take my $12.50 and go support an up and coming band that actually needs the $$. No one can deny the influence that Phish has had on this entire scene. But let's keep it going by supporting new, fresh acts instead of running old ones into the ground. Just my $.02.

These guys are getting a bit ridiculous. 12 bucks for a friggin' movie? No thanks. When these guys went on hiatus, they should've never come back and just left us with the great memories. Not memories of a band led by a coked out self indulgent person like Trey.

Why is everyone bashing for phish showing this concert. I think it's great that they are allowing people to enjoy a great show that was a part of their amazing run as a band. It may not be all about the money to these guys, and even if it is I think it is well worth your money and time to see Phish. If you are going to get mad by saying it's all about the money then you might as well get mad at every band that continues to put out cds after they are done....such as the Grateful Dead.

If got hate in your heart, let it out! ...you know since we all want to hear your whiney comments of what Phish 'hasn't done for you lately.' Get over it. We love these guys. Why are you taking time to read these comments when you have so much discontent for the band. Save us all some time and energy. lol

How many shows did these guys play? You cant pick any other show than the one I've already seen in the theatre? Gimme a break, I wont pay twenty four dollars to see the same show twice!!!! Pick different shows that havent been shown on theatre simulcasts and you wont need a reunion tour so soon. Mark my words "the reunion will happen". Just a matter of time until these guys are out of money or flake.

I was forced to peep out coventry in the theater too. me and my girl at the theater for 4 days straight. another great excuse to have a great time... loosin up yall. durring the end of the coventry viewing in philly, the theater was an emotional blimp ride.

maybe phish should ask ever fan what show they should put out on dvd and only do what their fans say. forget about video quality or anything like that. also maybe they should ask their fans if they should get back together. hahha people are so selfish it staggers me. they're like "this isn't exactly what i wanted" so i'm gonna whine and moan. hilarious.

I was questioning whether or not I should go to this, and am so glad I decided to go. It's the closest we can get to how it used to be. Sure, you could buy the dvd, but where else can you hear and see them play with many other Phish fans dancing and singing all around you? That's part of what makes Phish so great. A+ for me.

I really don't understand those of you that can even be content with this dvd. I am for bringing back whatever sort of phish we can get but to hear this concert is so upsetting. I mean it just doesn't do phish justice. they're better then this.

It's hard to belive that it has been almost 2 years, since the disaster that was Coventry. Rented RV, 3 miles from exit when Mike told us to turn around, Wasn't risking RV to hike in. Went home. I have been listening to alot of new music since then, but still throw in a few live shows from time to time. Listen to the REBA from 10/31/94, and tell me that you dont get chocked up during the jam near the end..........All that being said evry time I get new updates from jambase about phish selling this or that, it's like ripping of the scab that has yet to heal. They stopped playing together because........well, I'm not really sure why. Trey's self-indulgent, convaludued(sp?), reasoning was bull s@#t as far as I'm concerned. It's not like his new music is any good. I will not buy this dvd or anything else coming from PHISH INC. If they are really gone, then stop with the merchandise and marketing. Saw 50-60 shows and "grew" up w/ them. LEt sleeping dogs lie.........
