The prolific artist we call Bonnie Prince Billy (aka Will Oldham) has announced news for yet another record. Then the Letting Go was recorded in Iceland last winter with Bjork producer Valgeir Sigurdsson and is set for a September 18 release on Domino in the UK, and will hit the States on the following day on Drag City.
The album will feature backup vocals by Dawn "The Faun" McCarthy (also of Drag City), bass by Billy's brother Paul Oldham, guitar from Emmett Kelly, and percussion from the Dirty Three's Jim White.
