PITCHFORK MUSIC FESTIVAL ADDS SILVER JEWS, AESOP ROCK

The Pitchfork Music Festival is set to go down at Chicago's Union Park July 29 & 30. The high-profile fest will feature 36 bands on three stages. One-day passes are selling for the cheap price of $20, while fans planning to hit both days can purchase two-day passes for $30.

The lineup thus far included:

• Silver Jews
• Aesop Rock
• Man Man
• Spoon
• Yo La Tengo
• Tapes 'n Tapes
• Mission of Burma
• Ted Leo/Pharmacists
• Mountain Goats
• The National
• Jens Lekman
• Hot Machines

24 more artists will be announced soon!

As Pitchfork claims on their website: "Kids, that's 83¢ per band. You can't even get a fuckin' donut for that!"

For $20 for one day, well worth it to check a few of these bands out.

Decent bands, they are more the kinds of bands I'd rather listen to their albums than see their live shows, but the price isn't bad at all.
