Widespread Panic
With their new album, Earth To America, slated for a June release, Widespread Panic has announced only four Spring tour dates. To accommodate the band's rabid fan base the May 9th show at Atlanta's Fox Theatre will be simulcast in LIVE HD, via satellite, exclusively into select movie theatres nationwide. Participating Movie Theatres to be announced the first week of April. Tickets go on-sale Friday, April 7th. All information and updates will be posted on Movie Ticket price $15.00 available at the participating Theatre Box Office (no service charge) and online. Limit of 6 tickets per transaction.

After recently announcing two shows at North Carolina's ALLTEL Pavilion at Walnut Creek for April 21st and 22nd, Widespread Panic has released two additional dates to what appears to be a very small Spring tour.

May 8th and 9th, the Panic will return to Atlanta's Fox Theatre. Tickets go on sale March 18th through Ticketmaster phone (800.326.4000) or online at All Reserved seating $50.

5/8 & 5/9/06 The Fox Theatre Atlanta GA On Sale March 18 only by Ticketmaster phone 800.326.4000 or online All Reserved seating $50

Widespread Panic has been busy recording its next studio album due this June on Sanctuary Records. The band recorded with Terry Manning at famed Compass Point Studios in Nassau, Bahamas. Since returning from the tropics, Panic has kept relatively quite, until today.

Although more dates are likely to be released, Panic has announced two dates at Raleigh's ALLTEL Pavilion at Walnut Creek for April 21st and 22nd. Tickets go on sale through Widespread Online Ticketing March 3rd at 12 p.m. Public on sale date is March 11.

is this the first panic album being recorded without John Keene? I loved BALL and AINT LIFE GRAND as far as studio recordings. The DVD audio of Ball is insane

I heard that Panic is likely not going to play 10KLF and I am really bummed. I also heard that they might tour Europe which would be awesome if I could somehow come up with the $$$. Has anyone heard anything?

10KLF still has a Friday night main stage open, and it would not supprise me if they did book for that night. Over the last year around our parts most people want Panic back for at least 1 night, leading to hearing rumblings of them back for at least Friday.

I emailed Panic's managment and asked if they were gonna play 10KLF, and they said they aren't gonna be in the area during that time... but they also said nothing is for sure yet. Crossing my fingers, but not getting my hopes up.
I'll see them somewhere this summer... but if they played 10KLF again, that would be the cherry on top of the sundae.

This thing with the simulcast live in theatre is awesome, especially since I can't make ethier of the shows. I wonder how it will be in the theatre, will the vibe still be good, anyone every be to one before?

I am very glad to see them back after their hiatus, it worries me a little to see them start off slow this spring. I really hope to see this incredible band play for years and years to come... Another Chicago Theatre show would be great...Panic on

Glad to see WSP take a new direction with their sound. John Keane has been a 7th member for a long time and helped them find their voice. Their new producer, Terry Manning will be a solid step in the band finding who they are now.

I went to the Phish Simulcast of the Coney Island show in 2004. It was a little chill at first but then everyone started to get into it and shake their booty. Next thing you know there were balloons and glow sticks it was as good as being there (only you could see better!). I'll def. go see panic
