NO STEEL AT LANGERADO

From www.langerado.com:

Sunday morning gospel set by The Lee Boys added to Langerado

The Lee Boys
Due to circumstances beyond our control, Steel Pulse will have to cancel their performance this Sunday at the Langerado Music Festival. They were unable to obtain their proper work visas and will not be allowed to perform in the country at this time. It is with great regret that we make this announcement so close to the festival date. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We are happy to announce that in Steel Pulse's place, sacred steel masters The Lee Boys will be performing a Sunday Morning Gospel set. We look forward to seeing 15,000 smiling faces under the crystal blue sunny skies of South Florida this weekend. For more information and tickets, please visit www.langerado.com.

Each of these acts will join Miami's The Spam Allstars and Palm Beach's Crazy Fingers on the Sonic Bids/New Times "Florida Native" Stage. For stage scheduling visit www.langerado.com. Meanwhile, veteran keyboardist John Ginty nabbed the coveted main stage national contest winner slot. He'll perform at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.

At least there are still a few festivals that have local bands involved...It's nice to see not all of them have turned into money-whores.

I think its terrible that their chargin 120 for a two day ticket, no one day tickets, and 80 EXTRA FOR CAMPING or something ridiculous like that! Isn't part of a festival tha camping and getting all your stuff wet and nasty and all that, IT SHOULD JUST BE INCLUDED! Money-whores indeed!

What a shame that Ethan didn't include Billy Gilmore or Alan Martinke, two of the most talented musicians in the state.

Yeah langerado works out so that if you want a normal festival with camping and late night shows (Never seen any festival that charges more for late night shows-except langerado) you have 2 more fees on your hand, and the camping tickets are sold by the head!! $65 Dollars a person to camp not to be confused with $65 dollars a vehicle. Crazy prices,- Wakarusa please :)
