3 DAYS, OVER 40 HOURS OF MUSIC WITH NO OVERLAPPING SETS!

"All Good could be named the Carefree Festival... All your troubles will be blown away." –Relix Magazine, June '06

MASONTOWN, WV (May 29, 2006) – The power-packed lineup for this year's 10th Annual ALL GOOD MUSIC FESTIVAL has been finalized, with John Medeski & The Itch featuring Eric Krasno of Soulive and Adam Deitch, plus DJ Logic and Gary Jules completing the biggest, most eclectic array of performers in the history of the Mid-Atlantic's premier camping music event. Indeed, with Trey Anastasio & Mike Gordon featuring The Benevento/Russo Duo headlining the first night, the Black Crowes headlining the second night, and late-night sets by the Greyboy Allstars (Friday) and the Disco Biscuits (Saturday), Walther Productions is pulling out all stops to mark the festival's milestone 10th anniversary year. The celebration takes place July 14-16 at Marvin's Mountaintop in Masontown, WV, with 2nd Tier Early Bird tickets almost completely sold out!

Performances on the All Good Stage (main) and the Magic Hat stage (2nd) have been arranged with no overlapping set times, so it's possible to see every artist playing this year's festival.

From jamband, to singer-songwriter, to indie rock, the line-up is as diverse as it is phenomenal – as is the feel and flavor. Though the festival has grown from attracting 1,000 people in a Brandywine, MD park to an expected record-breaking attendance of 20,000 this year on a sprawling mountaintop setting, the peacefully spirited ALL GOOD vibe has remained a constant.

The ALL GOOD FESTIVAL has become the flagship event of Maryland-based Walther Productions, and its growth has paralleled the growth of the concert company. Diversity, originality and creativity are plentiful; hard-nose regulations and constraints are not. By treating patrons with an uncommon level of respect like one big family, they're bound at ALL GOOD by a common celebratory love of music, and a sense of excitement coupled with the grandeur of the great outdoors, setting a prevailing tone of inherent tranquility and camaraderie.

Tier 2 Early-Bird Tickets are almost completely sold out at $104. The few remaining will be available only in limited quantity and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Once they go, the ticket price will be $119. Tickets are available at jambasetickets.com.

I can't make it to Bonnaroo this year - I'm trying to find a few others - has anyone been to this before? How is it - the lineup sounds nice.

BUMMER. I guess at least those who can only make it to 10,000 lakes or All Good have an easier decision than they probably expected

mrmojorisin.. I was at all good in 04 and it was very nice. Beautiful landscapes and great music. The smaller crowd makes everything easier, but there seemed to be an even higher ratio of lunchers than at any other festival I've been too(if you can beleive that).
All Good is All Good and when you add Ween it just gets better.

Anyone know how long it takes to drive up to 10,000 lakes from All Good? I was at 10,000 lakes for the firs time last year from out West! Great fest, great venue/space, great people!

This festival has moments of greatness, heck moments of sheer bliss, surrounded by some notorious weather shaninagans. Shouldn't matter with a nasty fest line-up planned. The sun will prevail.

One main stage and a side stage that makes the hiking easy. Beautiful and remote location, a hill that you can roll down or Rollllllll down. Arrive on Thursday early evening and skip out on Sunday latter afternoon.

It sure would be cool to see Walther place the bridge on the mainstage this year for a hour tweener before the crowes.

mrmojo - I went the last 2 years. the site is absolutely amazing - a perfect location/perfect size for a festi. Last year's show was definetely the best festival I have ever been too. A great great vibe going around the place. However, that was certainly due largely to the incredible lineup last year. '04 wasn't the same, and I excpect something similar this year. But its still a great time, and well worth it.

i think im gonna do a road trip from all good to 10k Lakes

10,000 lakes has the better lineup, but i mean honestly, are you really gonna care about the lineup when you are engulfed in a festival atmosphere?

So how many hour's is it to get up to 10,000 lakes from this fest? A West Costs newbie...
thanks!

So wait, earlier today this jambase aarticle cited that Robert Randolph and the Family Band were on the lineup too. Was never on the all good site. So theyre either waiting to announce them as an addition and jambase screwed up by printing it and took off to withold the secret or jambase just wrote it wrong and corrected. Either way, Im there, Bring on the cheese keller and widespread additions

moe, Cheese, Yonder, DSO, Panic, Derek Trucks Gordo ??????
I really enjoy the no overlapping set concept, I feel robbed when 2, or 3 or 5 great acts are on at once. That's why I'll be here, and the vibes, smile fest? Huge festivals arent worth it anymore, high ticket prices, missin at least half the shit I pay for, walkin till my legs fall off, sitin in traffic. But the linups are sick. I'm just torn between all the music in the world, there's just so much goin on at once everywhere all the time. guess I just have to get all my early birds, and hope Big Summer rolls through the east coast again. Happy almost Spring everyone!!!!!!

I have worked at the All Good a few times (as well as other festivals) and I can honestly say that I love this spot so much for a gathering. The lineup looks sick, again, and will only get better within the coming weeks and months.

If you are hesitant about going, trust me, worth the trek to the middle of no where West Virginia for this one - if I wasn't in Australia I would be there myself.

Not a bad line up so far but I expect there's a lot more good bands to come. I've been to All Good the past four years and every time it gets better. Last year's festival was amazing but it seems like they weren't ready to accomodate that many people. I hope they add Keller.

A 'luncher' is one of those extra dirty hippies. One who bummed a ride to the show and then begged someone else for a ticket. Then once they get inside they sell people fake acid so that they can pay to get themselves so wasted they can't move. At this point they fully become a luncher. They are 100% useless and would steal stuff out of peoples tents if they fealt the urge, or maybe they would just crawl in it and sleep there. Either way that is what a 'luncher' is.. a dishonest, looser of a hippie, one that give the nice ones a bad rap.

last year i went to allgood and then made the drive to 10k, we left sunday night and got a hotel right outside of the fest. we stayed until tuesday and drove all day and got a hotel around 11 p.m. drove all the next day and got a hotel about 2 hours away from 10k, got there at about 12:30 on thursday and 10k was the best weekend of my life! acorn where are you???!! all good and 10k are by far the 2 best gatherings in my opinion. speaking of lunchers, the same person we saw at allgood needing a ride to 10k was at 10k looking for a ride to floydfest.

Hey i just wanted to warn anyone driving to All Good on I-60 near the Friendship exit cutting through Maryland that they routinly set up that area with Garrett county police officers and the DEA. Dont speed but most of all- do not have anything on you that you wouldnt want found (ps bumper stickers are a red flag haha) a lot of people ended up in jail on the way to the festival but we still got out in time to have a blast:)Cant wait for this year!

I'll second that warning...I got popped in maryland once on the way to all good and it sucked a fat one. Be careful out there, the western Maryland cops are no doubt drooling in anticipation for that weekend. They pulled me over for going 3 miles per hour over the speed limit, and they'll get you if you give 'em a reason...

and yeah, tour rat lunchers suck and they LOVE to stab eachother and let their stupid pitbulls fight while they key K and fall in the campfire at All Good more than any other festie I've been to. All in all, a great time anyways...Have fun.

I would hope the 'all good site' would have a message board at some point. Perhaps could find a cali, nevada, or colorado person who would want to share the drive out this summer...... from Nevada.....

The lineup looks great, but I've heard through friends that went and people at other festivals that All Good is quite the misnomer for this festival. Rumor was there was a lot of harder stuff going around, and a lot of bad vibes.
I went to the second festival they had at Morgan's Mountaintop in late August 2004 which was great and had a very kind vibe.
Anyone else with thoughts on the scene at All Good is welcome, this is almost too good of a lineup to miss.

Of course there were some heavy things going on at All Good last year. But if your not a complete custy you don't have to worry about all the dirty hippies trying to rip you off. Yes K is not the drug I would think people would want at a festival. All in all, All Good was just that last year. UM kicked ass, The Lips were unreal, Les lost his lights but still entertained, Dumpstaphunk, Lotus, Yonder...

Been the last couple of years. Always a great time. The police (MD and WV) are really bad and know what's up. There were alot of kidz pushing bunk everything and someone got stabbed last year. Although the "lunchers" seemed to say in the same area and were easily avoided. You could feel tension in drug alley. Come early fri or wait in line for half the day. Only one shitty road into the fest. Ice was also a problem last year. The sound is great and for the most part the vibe is freindly. Les, Ween, Ump, DB. It's All Good! See you there!

I know from last year that the reason why we had to leave early was because of a really bad storm headed towards us from a hurricane so it was reasonable that we were forced to leave.
