Holy shit, I would love to see Phil with Jeff Sipe and Joan Osbourne. But, I saw Dark Star Orchestra recreate 11/1/73 last weekend, and I love Phil, but that show would be hard to beat. I was blown away.

Jeff Sipe is a serious drummer, and it is good to hear of him playing more.

It's only 3 shows into this run and I can safely say, this is the best Phil tour ever. Saturday night blew the doors off the Beacon. It was my favorite post-Jerry performance by a Dead member.

hey bucketlogic, you saw DSO recreate 11-1-73,and your tellin' Phil that will be hard to beat. Did'nt Phil play the show on 11-1-73, with GD or am I missing something. The only thing DSO will ever do, is rehash what Phil's already done. You should'nt blame any musician for not wanting to relive the past, would'nt it have sucked if on 11-1-73 GD played the same stuff as in 1966. Iguess the DSO would probably have played that better than Phil's band is capable of.

Just saw sundays show, and it was amazing! How many time do you get to see a show on the day of a blizzard. Trey played the whole show and really was allowed to lead the band where ever. Great energy on stage and the jams were out of control all 2nd set. Definately a show I will not forget anytime soon.

what about Larry Campbell???
for those of you who don't know about him, i can tell you he is an extremely talented multi-instrumentalist (guitar, slide, mandolin, ect). He toured in Bob Dylan's band for several years from the mid 90's to 2004. Always on point and professional - Phil picked a winner here. Rob Barracco is great on keys too, seen him a few times with DSO and ratdog. But where's MOOKIE?? I'll be at the Hammerstein FRIDAY & SATURday nights... CAn't wait - see you lucky folks there!!
