Festival Dates & Early Artist Confirmations:

For this 14th year of Noise Pop we're taking the opportunity to experiment with the formula a little bit - the most notable difference is that Noise Pop is taking place a month later than usual. This year's fest runs from March 28 - April 2 throughout the city of San Francisco instead of its usual spot on the calendar at the end of February. What isn't different this year is the participation of the best-loved clubs and live music venues in San Francisco hosting great bands from all over. Early confirmations including Feist, Kieran Hebden of Four Tet with legendary jazz drummer Steve Reid, Thursday, Two Gallants, We Are Scientists, Minus The Bear, The National, ISIS, Rogue Wave, Kid Koala and The Dirtbombs with more bands being added constantly.

This year's festival will once again feature the popular Noise Pop Film Festival and Educational Series. We also have a few new tricks up our sleeve which we'll be announcing soon. No wonder Noise pop has been dubbed "San Francisco's most awesomest annual music festival" by Fader Magazine.

Make sure to visit the Noise Pop 2006 website for the most up to date festival information including instructions for how to buy show tickets, badges or a stylish Noise Pop t-shirt, who's playing, when a show starts and oh, basically everything you could ever hope to know and more about Noise Pop 2006!

A little unrelated but seeing Kid Koala pop-up...

I really wish he would do some more stuff w/ Bullfrog!
I caught them once in Philly a few years back and they were just tremendous!
