WHERE'S THE PARTY AT?
Mezzanine is a colorful, spacious, open plan venue, with soaring ceilings and massive sky lights that still conveys a personal, intimate atmosphere.
The Axis Brothers - Mighty Dave Pellicciaro (keys), Dale Fanning (drums) and Chris Haugen (guitar) - will lead the bill with their authentic, individual brand of blues, soul and modern jazz infusion.
Dave Schools of Widespread Panic will be joining the Axis Brothers for the evening on bass. Dave has played with everyone from the Grateful Dead's Bob Weir to John Hiatt.
Jay Rodriguez is a trailblazer in the jazz world, taking the clarinet and saxophone to new levels. He was performing with Tito Puente at 15 and has also shared the stage with legends such as James Brown, B.B. King as well as modern hip hop artists Erykah Baduh and The Roots.
The vocals are being supplied by one woman orchestra Robin Coomer from Loop!Station. She piles on layers of loops from a range of instruments and vocals creating a symphonic effect and an unforgettable aural experience.
