ROGUE WAVE EMBARKS ON NOVEMBER/DECEMBER 2005 TOUR
 Rogue Wave |
Continuing their rise through the masses of amazing independent music, Rogue Wave will be touring the U.S. and Canada during the months of November and December in support of their new release, Descended Like Vultures (Sub Pop). The first Rogue Wave album recorded as a full band, Descended Like Vultures has received broad grassroots support as well as critical acclaim, with songs appearing on The OC and Stubbs the Zombie Soundtracks, as well as in the upcoming feature film "Just Friends."
The Oakland-based quartet formed in 2002, releasing their debut Out of the Shadow on Sub Pop records in 2004, touring incessantly as headliners and support for such acts as the Shins, A.C. Newman, Guster, Spoon, Mates of State, and others. Originally the brainchild of singer Zach Rogue, who wrote and recorded Out of the Shadow with producer Bill Racine, Rogue Wave has expanded both literally and sonically to include the multi-instrumentalist talents of Pat Spurgeon, Gram LeBron and Evan Farrell.
