 Perpetual
Groove has risen out of the deep south this year to much acclaim. The band
kicked off 2005 on Jam Cruise III and has continued to tour relentlessly throughout
the year with appearances at the nation's top festivals including Wakarusa, High
Sierra, 10,000 Lakes, and their jaw-dropping debut at Bonnaroo this past June.
After a wildly successful run in Japan, Perpetual Groove returns to the Northeast
this week before embarking on their "It Starts Where It Ends" Tour.
PGroove will make a brief run through the Northeast this week with shows in
New York City-NY, Troy-NY, Philly-PA, and Asbury Park-NJ before returning home
to the Southeast for a special homecoming show at The Mission in Augusta, GA.
On September 2nd, the band "starts" their fall tour "where it
ends" at the Georgia
Theatre in Athens, GA as the tour will conclude with three nights in Athens
to ring in the New Year. PGroove will travel throughout the Southeast for the
month of September with stops in Georgia, North Carolina, Florida, Tennessee,
and Alabama.
The band then kicks it into high gear for a trip out West before boarding the
Carnival Paradise for the inaugural Xingolati
Pacific Groove Cruise, they return home for a special Halloween performance
at Atlanta's Variety Playhouse on the 31st. In November the band ventures back
to the Northeast for an extended tour before returning home to prep for New
Year's Eve in Athens, GA.
