Summertime brings the greatest need of the year for hungry children in America. Many of these youngsters rely on subsidized meals at school for the bulk of their nourishment during the school year. In the absence of these subsidies, the need grows exponentially. Donating just $1 to Second Harvest Food Banks can equal between $5 and $7 worth of food. In the wake of Live8, you can feel good about being part of the global participation to end hunger through music.
