From www.xingolati.com:

June 6, 2005 – Los Angeles, CA – With the addition of a screening of The Fearless Freaks and a Wayne Coyne hosted Zaireeka party, Xingolati promises to be an event that Flaming Lips fans won't want to miss. Xingolati, The Groove Cruise of the Pacific, is a 3 day, 3 night cruise that will be part music festival, part circus at sea.

In addition to performing live on the boat in one of their few scheduled performances for the year, the Flaming Lips will screen their newly released documentary The Fearless Freaks onboard the ship. The documentary, directed by Bradley Beesley is the result of over 400 hours of footage that includes a decade of home movies, personal interviews, live shows, music videos, and behind the scenes of Christmas on Mars.

Adding another dimension to the cruise, Wayne Coyne, lead singer for the Flaming Lips will be hosting the first "Pacific Ocean Zaireeka Party." Zaireeka is an album released by the Lips on four discs in 1997. Each disc contains one element of the mix of the album. The four discs are played simultaneously on different sound systems and the blending of sounds creates a voyage that is Zaireeka.

In addition to the Flaming Lips, Xingolati will feature:
• G Love and Special Sauce
• Medeski Martin and Wood
• John Popper Project Featuring DJ Logic
• Slightly Stoopid Acoustic
• The Everyone Orchestra featuring Vince Herman, Rob Wasserman, Joe Craven, Jamie Masefield and Jamie Janover conducted by Matt Butler
• Particle
• Tea Leaf Green
• DJ Greyboy
• R.E.D. featuring Rob Wasserman and members of Particle
• The Mutaytor
• DJ Laird
• Rob Cantrell from NBC's Last Comic Standing
• Perpetual Groove

• That One Guy
• Soul Rebels Brass Band
• Lowpro Lounge

The three day, three night cruise from Los Angeles to Ensenada, Mexico will depart on October 14, 2005 and feature the comforts of a cruise vacation aboard the Carnival Cruise Lines' ship Paradise. The ship has several venues that will showcase live music and DJs, infused with Guy Grand Productions antics including performance art, character exaggerations and circus theatrics.
