As an act that continues to sell out venues nationwide, Pat McGee Band has signed with Los Angeles/Dallas-based Kirtland Records for a multi-record deal. The first venture of this deal will be the full-length enhanced CD, SAVE ME.
SAVE ME, which is slated for nationwide release on June 28, will feature all new artwork and packaging, plus five previously unavailable bonus acoustic tracks and a video for the single, "Must Have Been Love." The video was shot by award winning director Bill Fishman in Los Angeles earlier this month.
During its first week at radio, "Must Have Been Love" was the third most added record at both Hot AC and AAA formats.
"Our decision to sign this band was because of a tireless work ethic, and the overwhelming demand we have seen from radio and from the band's fan base," said Kirtland Records President Dave Darus.
As for front man Pat McGee, the feeling is mutual. "Signing with Kirtland is an exciting step for the band," he said. "It's a true partnership between artist and label."
SAVE ME is the Richmond, VA-based band's fifth album, and to date sales of their first four releases is approaching 300,000 units. Pat McGee Band will be on tour in support of SAVE ME throughout 2005.
