Brogan and Adams (ALO)

On a streak of sell out shows since December of 2004, ALO (Animal Liberation Orchestra) has announced details of a highly anticipated upcoming West Coast tour supporting Grammy Award Winning reggae legends Toots and The Maytals. The tour kicks off on April 19th in Eugene, Oregon.

ALO's talents know no bounds; they continue to jam with their trademark infectious groove, backing their successful fourth LP Fly Between Falls, which continues to gain sales worldwide. On this tour the band will be performing material from their vast catalogue, plus new songs from the Fly Between Falls including the lead song "Girl, I Wanna Lay You Down" (featuring vocals by singer/surf-rider Jack Johnson on the album), pop tune "Barbeque" and the laid back, melodic "Spectrum," to name a few.

ALO is a 15-year musical collaboration between childhood friends Dan Lebowitz (guitar), Steve Adams (bass), and Zach Gill (keys, vocals). In the fall of 2002, this core trio (a.k.a. LAG) teamed up with Seattle drummer David Brogan. With their carefully crafted funky songs, this quartet lures fans to the dance floor, infusing them with their positive soulful energy.

ALO has worked with such talents as Jack Johnson, The James Brown Band, String Cheese Incident, Steve Kimock, Hamsa Lila, The Derek Trucks Band, Col. Bruce Hampton, Matt Butler, Everyone Orchestra, DJ Logic, Global Funk Council, Brass Monkey Brass Band, Cannonball Horns, Carlos Washington's Giant People, The Motet, Garaj Mahal, Tea Leaf Green, New Monsoon, Taarka, Tony Furtado, Henry Butler, Reed Foehl, Jambay, and the Gluey Brothers, among others.
