Neil Young by Tony Stack |
Legendary musician Neil Young is now recovering from brain surgery. The 59 year old rock and roll star underwent a procedure last Tuesday, March 29th in New York City and appears to be doing well. Dr. Pierre Gobin, who performed the surgery with another doctor, said: "Mr. Young had a dangerous brain aneurysm and was treated successfully by the minimally invasive neuroradiology team here. He is now resting comfortably ... but we strongly recommend that he not travel for several days."
The aneurysm was discovered when Young's vision became blurry and erratic after the March 14th Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony that Young had attended. Young regretfully had to cancel his appearance at the Canadian Juno Awards, but is expected to make a full recovery.
