The second Black Crowes warm-up gig under the name; Mr. Crowes Garden took place at the Higher Ground in Burlington Vermont last evening, Tuesday March 15th. While it comes as a big surprise, perhaps we should have at least considered that Trey Anastasio may come out for a hometown throwdown. Trey joined the band for the encore of "Yer Blues" and "Hard To Handle."

The Mr. Crowes Garden "surprise" shows continue on Thursday the 17th in Connecticut. See tour dates below for details.

Last evening, Monday March 14 marked the end of an almost four year break for The Black Crowes. The rumors proved to be true as Mr. Crowes Garden took the stage at The Staircase in Pittston, PA. This was the first time the band has performed since October 31, 2001.

Chris Robinson (vocals), Rich Robinson (guitars), Marc Ford (guitars), Eddie Hawrysch (keyboards), Sven Pipien (bass) and Bill Dobrow (drums) are reported to have been in fine form, making music and establishing a foundation for their upcoming "official return" as The Black Crowes kicking off on March 22 at the Hammerstien Ballroom in New York City.

But before the Robinson's and team take the stage as The Black Crowes there are a few more "warm up" gigs as Mr. Crowes Garden.
