An all star roster of some the greatest artists to emerge from Upstate New York's Jam Rock scene will come together for the Think Global Start Local Benefit Concert, on Saturday February 26th at Revolution Hall in Troy NY.

Doctors of the World in Action
By Darren Whiteside
The show will feature a special appearance by Conehead Buddha, who are making their first live appearance in over two and half years. Defunct Albany band Jerkwater Ruckus will play a set of their own material, as well as perform a set backing Moon Boot Lover frontman Peter Prince. Former God Street Wine leader Lo Faber will play his first live set in over nine months. Dana Montieth of the Ominous Seapods will play a special acoustic set with members of his new band Iowa-80. The Brian Kaplan Band and School Bus Yellow, also share the bill.

The Upstate Jam Rock scene has always been a supportive and tight knit group, so in a way this event is a reunion for the scene as well, and it is exciting that we are coming together for such worthy causes. The event will benefit Doctors of the World in their efforts to rebuild the regions devastated by the Tsunami. The event is also designed to shed light on the daily tragedies occurring here at home, as there will also be a food drive for Regional Food Bank of North Eastern NY.

The Think Global Start Local Benefit Concert will take place on Saturday February 26th starting at 7 pm at Revolution Hall in Troy NY. Tickets are $12 and available at
