TSUNAMI BENEFIT : : HOME AT LAST : : 1.13

On the morning of December 26th, members and friends of Home At Last awoke to the same devastating news as the rest of the world: thousands had lost their lives in the worst natural disaster in recent history. The news weighed heavily on this close-nit Bay Area community in particular, as HAL drummer Lucas Carlton was visiting Sri Lanka when the Tsunamis struck.

Fortunately, after 24 long hours of phone trees and emails, word came that Lucas was fine, and heading home to spend New Year's Eve with the band and friends. While he made it home without a scratch, Lucas returned with a great love for the Sri Lankan people, and perhaps a tiny share of their pain.

The band is eager to help send as much love and support as possible to the victims of this tragedy, and will be donating all proceeds from their upcoming show at The Last Day Saloon (1.13.05) to Habitat for Humanity, an international organization working diligently to help millions of people who have been displaced in South Asia. David Andrews, former front-man of Portland, OR, favorites Calobo, will open the show.

Admission will be on a sliding scale, with a minimum $5 donation.
