Mark Karan (guitar) and Robin Sylvester (bass) from Bob Weir's Ratdog have just been added the Rex Foundation's 20th Anniversary Celebration on December 11. The Everyone Orchestra will perform with special guests including Bob Weir, Mark Karan, Robin Sylvester, The Jambay Trio, members of Tea Leaf Green and surprise guests. The Rex Foundation is celebrating twenty years of supporting the arts, environment, and social causes through its generous grant-giving efforts to non-profits.

Mark and Robin were part of the Everyone Orchestra lineup at this summer's Oregon Country Fair. Coincidentally, a premier screening of the commercially unreleased Sunshine Daydream, a movie of the legendary 1972 Grateful Dead concert at the Oregon County Fair, will commence after the Everyone Orchestra.

The Rex Foundation, a not-for-profit charitable organization established in 1983 by friends and members of the Grateful Dead, has been aiding in building stronger communities, promoting individuality in the arts, helping secure a more healthy environment, and protecting the rights of indigenous people through grants given throughout the United States and abroad.

The Everyone Orchestra is a revolving cast of musicians who come together to raise funds and awareness for local non-profits through performance of songs and improvisational music. Everyone Orchestra performances are unique in that they culminate in unpredictable segments featuring a conductor who directs both musicians and audience alike in interactive, lively, and highly danceable jams.
