NEW ALBUM REPORTEDLY DUE OUT THIS SPRING

A decade after calling it quits, North Carolina trio Ben Folds Five will be reuniting for a brand new album reportedly due for release in the Spring. Consequence of Sound points out that Ben Folds confirmed the news yesterday on his Twitter account, tweeting a photo of the band in the studio with the words "It's happening fo sho - Day 1 in studio with Robert and Darren through March. #NewBenFoldsFiveRecord". After a fan asked when the record would be released, Folds replied with "Spring release."
The guys had previously gotten together to work on a few new tunes on Folds' 3-disc retrospective The Best Imitation Of Myself: A Retrospective (1995-2011). Check out one of the tracks below.
