  • Send to a Friend

The Mimi Fishman Foundation is pleased to announce its newest auction. This auction is unique in that it's a blend of a traditional "Mimi" auction as well as a list of items we are hosting for two other organizations, Rock the Earth, and the Zeke Barry Fund. We have listed some information about them below.

The auction once again features many signed items and several ticket/pass packages from bands such as String Cheese Incident, Phish, and Yonder Mountain String Band, among several others.

To view and/or bid on the auction, please visit the auction site at www.mimifishman.org.

The Mimi Fishman Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 1999 by Miriam "Mimi" Fishman (the late mother of Phish drummer Jon Fishman) and David Shulman as a vehicle to raise funds for various charities, including The American Glaucoma Society, Colorado's Boulder County Safehouse, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Evangelical Children's Home, Healing the Children, The Solace House, and The Delta Gamma Center for the Visually Impaired. With no paid employees, the Foundation operates solely by the help of volunteers. Foundation information can be found at www.mimifishman.org.

Rock the Earth works closely with the music industry and its fans, many of whom are concerned with the fate of our public lands, air, and water. We act as advocates to ensure the existence of a sustainable and healthy environment for all and represent those individuals and communities whose environment or natural surroundings are directly and adversely affected by the actions of others. Rock the Earth, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit, national public interest environmental advocacy organization, is committed to protecting and defending America's natural resources through partnerships with the music industry and the worldwide environmental community. For more information visit rocktheearth.net.

Regarding the Zeke Barry Fund, Zeke's parents and longtime SCI fans Melissa and Dylan Barry, were killed in a head-on auto collision a few months ago. They were on their way to attend a July Fourth party in their previous hometown with many of their friends. Their three-year-old son Zeke survived the crash. The fund was set up to help Zeke as well as to allow the family/extended family to help others that are in a similar position as Zeke. More information can be found at www.melissaanddylan.com
