Boston, MA's Addison groove project (AGP) and Burlington, VT's Jennifer Hartswick Band (JHB) have joined forces for an eight-show jaunt through the Midwest. This tour is the first time that AGP and JHB will do extended dates together. Be sure to catch the show in your area on this hot tour! Two bands of this caliber rarely combine for shows with such a low ticket price. Much collaboration between the two groups is expected on a nightly basis.

AGP features Brendan McGinn on vocals, guitar, and trumpet; Rob Marscher on keys and bass; Dave Adams on alto sax and vocals; Ben Groppe on tenor sax; and Andrew Keith on drums. The band's sound is progressive funk rock. AGP enjoyed an amazing summer in 2004, highlighted by their blistering performance at the talent-filled Bonnaroo Music Festival in Manchester, TN (which is available for FREE download from The band has made a name for themselves the past seven years by constantly touring and always challenging themselves musically. These eight shows with Jennifer Hartswick Band are part of a two-month 37-show fall tour for AGP.

Jennifer Hartswick is one of the most accomplished musicians to come out of Vermont's music scene in years. She has completed five national tours as trumpeter and vocalist for the Trey Anastasio Band, and has shared the stage and studio with such top musicians as Carlos Santana, Dave Matthews, John Medeski, Warren Haynes and Michael Franti, to name a few. In support of her debut album, Fuse, she has put together an all-star ten-piece funk machine that regularly includes fellow Trey Band cohort Andrew Moroz, as well as Luke Laplant, Zach Lucas, Ira Friedman, Ari Folman-Cohen, Alex Wolston, Dave Diamond, Conor Elmes, and Christina Durfee. The Jennifer Hartswick Band recently finished their first nationwide tour this past summer, including high-profile appearances at the Wakarusa Festival and the High Sierra Music Festival.
