10TH ANNUAL FORECASTLE FEST SET FOR JULY 13-15

Forecastle Festival - Louisville's premier event for music, art and environmental activism – has announced the dates for its 10th Anniversary. The 3-day event will take place July 13 - 15 at Louisville's Waterfront Park.
The event will mark the second partnership between The Forecastle Festival and AC Entertainment, producers of the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, Moogfest and more than 750 concerts and events throughout the country. Halfway to Forecastle, hosted in the summer of 2011, was the duos first co-promotional event and brought over 5,000 fans to Louisville’s Waterfront Park, hailing from 25 states and 271 cities.
In anticipation of the 10th anniversary event, Forecastle will host three pre-festival events chronicling the last nine years of the festival. While full event details will be announced soon, the retrospective will feature previously unreleased archival materials, never before seen to the public.
Forecastle is held at Louisville's scenic, 85-acre Waterfront Park. Since 2002, the Festival has featured over 450 bands, 100 artists, and 150 environmental and outdoor recreational organizations.
