Kinky Buddha (the side project of Aaron Redner from Hot Buttered Rum) and special guest Dan "Lebo" Lebowitz from ALO are set to perform a special benefit concert on Friday, November 4 at Brick and Mortar Music Hall in San Francisco. The band will provide an opening set of original songs, followed by a second set that pays tribute to the Grateful Dead. Those in attendance also be treated to a performance from the Luscious Ladies Dance Troupe.
Proceeds from ticket sales at the door, combined with a raffle of great prizes (to be announced in the coming weeks) will benefit the Placencia Mooring Masters (PMM), a local conservation group working to protect the Belize Barrier Reef World Heritage Site. PMM needs your help to maintain an extensive network of mooring buoys that reduce anchor damage to coral reefs and promote sustainable business practices among dive and snorkel tour operators, a mainstay of the local economy in the region.
